What is San Diego Youth in Action?
SD Youth in Action is a group of homeschooled and college students who enjoy using their talent and skills to further God’s kingdom in a unique way- through the art of mime, drama, dance, sign language, and music. This page is for you to gain an understanding on what we are about, what we use, and how we do it!
Action’s Vision is to:
- Break down all barriers such as language, age, and race to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with everyone.
- Build up future leaders to be followers of Christ and to expand our ministry by building up other teams.
- Bind together family, friends, and strangers in the body of Christ through ministry, both on and off stage.
Action Beliefs:
- Action believes that today’s youth are tomorrow’s hope and that revival in this land will begin in the hearts and actions of the young people.
- Action redefines what it means to be a teenager in today’s society by setting higher standards and rasing expectations for our teens.
- Action acknowledges the potential and desires of Christian adolescents to evangelize their peers to a deep commitment to Christ and to His teachings.
- Action recognizes home schooled youth as having opportunities like no other peer group to effectively travel and evangelize year-round. (Action does not exclude private or public school youth for their tours)
- Action commits to reaching every peer group in every city with a new standard of excellence, exemplified, and carried out by teenagers in Action.
